Last weekend our local EMS-provider (which is also the major EMS-provider in Austria) equipped me with a First Responder-bag, which holds everything necessary to perform life-sustaining urgent measures. So now, whenever a medical emergency in my county happens, I get notified by SMS. Is the scene of the emergency close to my current location, I go there with my private car and help the patient. The First Responder-system dramatically shortens the time between the emergency call and the arrival of help.

Most of the time I don’t understand why some things happen to me, but I hope to know that in the end I will always end up alright. “The world still deceives you as it turns.” Probably true.

It’s been a long time since my last post, and life has been tough on me since then, which might also be the reason why I am running out of new photos to post. I will leave you with one photo, pretty much summing up the first months of 2011. But don’t worry, this is the past, or at least, that’s what I tell myself it is.

Right now, my head is full of emotions and thoughts, but I haven’t been able to sort them yet, to get some meaning out of them, to burn them into celluloid, or an SD card if you want. So stay tuned.
